Ellie Jane Goulding was born in Hereford England on December 30 1986. Her mother Tracey Goulding Summers worked in a supermarket and her dad Arthur Goulding was a member of the family known as an undertaker. Goulding is the second of three children with a brother called Alex an older sister named Isabel and a younger sister named Jordan. Alex his younger brother is his Bass. Alex also is part of a group from Hereford. When she was young her mother inspired her to become music teacher. She started learning clarinet as a child at the age of nine.
